Volunteers

Support young readers

We don't just supply books - we offer the tools needed to READ them!  We train volunteers to work under the direction of classroom teachers to provide reading support for kids.  Just let us know your preference of school, day and time, and we'll pair you up with a child, or small group!

When I got a free book I felt happy. Grayson I love my book. It is an imaginary book. I read it to my baby brother, and it helps him go to sleep. Brayden I loved the book I got. I read it twice! Danica

Students in Baker County

It is so special to have such high-quality choices of books for students to choose from. They look forward to taking home their gift! We couldn't do it without our volunteer readers as they help boost students' time and confidence reading out loud. Thank you, BCCLC!
